Zwei Jahre haben wir mit großer Spannung auf Star Wars: Die letzten Jedi gewartet, hier nun unsere Sicht auf den Mittelteil der Sequel-Trilogie:
Mut im Möglichen

Wer die Marketingkampagne um Star Wars: Die letzten Jedi verfolgt hat, konnte ein Element des Films nicht übersehen: Die Porgs. Klein, putzig und mit süßen Quäk-Lauten ausgestattet wirkten sie wie ein klassisches Merchandiseprodukt, nur dafür geschaffen, in möglichst hohen Stückzahlen an kleine und große Kinder verteilt zu werden. Im Film hingegen, und das sagt eine Menge über ihn aus, sind sie nicht bloß niedliche Schaufensterdekoration, sondern eines der Elemente, die Regisseur Rian Johnson nicht nur auf Lukes Insel geschickt einsetzt, um die an ihn von seinem phantasielosen Vorgänger übergebenen, leblosen Felsbrocken zu glaubhaften, plastisch ausgearbeiteten Star-Wars-Welten weiterzuentwickeln.
Diese Gabe, die jener Vorgänger schmerzlich vermissen ließ, dem zu den endlosen Spielarten von Star Wars außer Wüste und Irland gar nichts einfiel, erfüllt Johnsons Film in allen Facetten mit Leben und Menschlichkeit, und nirgends ist das bemerkenswerter als bei jenen als uninteressante Schaufensterpuppen mit Superfähigkeiten eingeführten Figuren, die unter Johnsons Händen zu auf Normalmaß zurechtgestutzten Persönlichkeiten werden dürfen, deren Entwicklung tatsächliche Spannungselemente mit sich bringt. So bekommt die als waschechte Mary Sue gestartete Rey endlich einmal auf die Finger, während Fliegermegaass Poe Dameron die Grenzen seiner Actionman-Attitüde schmerzhaft vor Augen geführt werden. Beiden Figuren tut das richtig, richtig gut, dürfen sie sich doch endlich, endlich als fehlbare Nicht-Superhelden beweisen, anstatt als bloßes Klischee zu verenden.
Zauberei kann man allerdings auch von Johnson nicht erwarten: Nachdem ihm ein Trümmerhaufen übergeben wurde, war es ihm verständlicherweise nicht möglich, daraus Paläste zu errichten, was insbesondere in der Finn-Rose-Geschichte unübersehbar ist: Dort, wie auch beispielhaft am Kurzauftritt von Maz Kanata, merkt man ganz besonders deutlich, dass Johnson im Grunde nicht wusste, was er mit diesen an sich überflüssigen Figuren anfangen sollte, sodass er sie entweder nur als Gimmick einsetzt oder sie einmal quer durch die Galaxis jagt, um ihnen nur irgendetwas zu tun zu geben. Etliche seiner 150 Minuten Laufzeit verschwendet der Film damit in einem effektreichen, aber ergebnisarmen Katz-und-Maus-Spiel, das neben einigen interessanten Schauwerten vor allem überflüssige Längen mit sich bringt.
Ebenfalls keine Wundertaten kann Johnson auf einem Feld leisten, bei dem der Sequelauftakt gelinde gesagt vage, um nicht zu sagen: komplett unverständlich blieb. Zwar liefert Johnson bereits in seinem Lauftext mehr Informationen zum Stand der Galaxis als sein Vorgänger in dessen gesamten Film, doch wirklich weit kommt auch Johnson damit nie. Was nun wirklich Sache ist, wie die Gesamtlage entstanden ist oder welches politische, militärische oder gar gesellschaftliche Potential in den verschiedenen Gruppierungen steckt, bleibt insbesondere auf der Seite der Bösen komplett offen. Umso klarer sind dafür, und das ist eine der vielen Stärken von Johnsons Werk, die Probleme der Guten, die nach dem erfolgreichen Einsatz des Starkillers weitestgehend mit leeren Händen dastehen. Und nun verzweifelt nach dem suchen, von dem schon Cassian Andor und Jyn Erso wussten, dass es entscheidend ist im Krieg der Sterne: Hoffnung. Denn Rebellion entsteht aus Hoffnung.
Und wie in Rogue One auf Scarif um eine unmögliche Hoffnung gekämpft wurde, werden auch in Die letzten Jedi verzweifelte Kämpfe geführt, um jenen Funken zu bewahren und zu neuem Strahlen zu führen, der die Galaxis gegen die Erste Ordnung erhellen soll. Der Hoffnungsträger des Vorgängerfilms erweist sich dabei, wie in den Trailern bereits angedeutet, als äußerst unwillig, seine Legende in den Dienst der guten Sache zu stellen, sodass es – wie schon beim Wechsel von Yoda und Obi-Wan zu ihrem in diesem Punkt allzu ähnlichen Schüler – abermals einer neuen Generation überlassen ist, die nötigen Kämpfe zu führen und das Gute im Bösen zu sehen.
Genau hier kann der Film seine Stärken ausspielen, genau hier überzeugt er durch seine sich selbst ernstnehmende Sicht auf die Hybris der Macht, die Anziehungskraft der dunklen Seite, die Dynamik zwischen Meistern und Schülern und der Faszination eines Abkömmlings der Skywalkers für ein Mädchen aus der Wüste. Wie gut dieser Film und diese Trilogie hätten werden können, wären sie mit mehr Verstand und Verständnis für den Krieg der Sterne begonnen worden, lässt sich am Spiel von Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver und Daisy Ridley zumindest erahnen.
Und unterm Strich? Leistet Johnson angesichts seiner miserablen Ausgangssituation fast schon Übermenschliches: Wo vorher banale Abkupferei war, ist nun klug variiertes Reimen, wo lieblose Abziehbilder waren, sind dreidimensionale Figuren, wo irländische Leblosigkeit war, sind Porgs, Kristallfüchse und Weltraumpferde und wo die Feigheit war, den Krieg der Sterne zu erweitern und in neue Dimensionen vorzutreiben, ist nun Mut. Sehr, sehr viel Mut, der in Fragen der Macht und ihrer Möglichkeiten fast schon tollkühne Ausmaße annimmt und die Saga dauerhaft vor große Herausforderungen stellen wird. Dass Johnsons Vorgänger und Nachfolger mit diesem Material auch nur ansatzweise klarkommen wird, ist in meinen Augen so gut wie ausgeschlossen, sodass diese Trilogie so erbärmlich enden dürfte, wie sie begonnen hat. Zumindest dieser Mittelteil aber ist ein bemerkenswertes, diskussionswürdiges, absonderliches und einzigartiges Stück Krieg der Sterne. Genau wie seine Porgs.
Neue Wege der Macht
Zur Einleitung in diese Filmbesprechung von Star Wars: Die letzten Jedi möchte ich ein paar Worte vorwegschicken.

Zunächst – ganz wichtig – diese Besprechung ist zu 99% spoilerfrei. Das 1% lasse ich mir offen, da jemand vielleicht auch nur Ansätze von Hinweisen als Spoiler verstehen könnten – ohne die dürfte eine angemessene Besprechung nicht möglich sein.
Außerdem würde mich als Leser dieser Filmbesprechung interessieren, wie der Autor denn zu Das Erwachen der Macht steht, um die Meinung hier besser einordnen zu können. Da möchte ich mich aber kurz fassen. Das Erwachen der Macht hat neue Figuren eingeführt, meiner Meinung nach tlw. ziemlich interessant und gelungen, tlw. blieben neue Figuren blass. Inhaltlich war mir der Film zu wenig durchdacht – ich würde sogar so weit gehen, dass sich die Autoren des Drehbuchs, J.J. Abrams und Lawrence Kasdan, wenige bis gar keine Gedanken über die Zeit zwischen den Trilogien gemacht haben. Herausgekommen ist in vielerlei Hinsicht ein Aufguss bekannter Themen und ein Setting ohne Hintergründe oder Erklärungen. Feige und uninspiriert könnte man das nennen.
Nun zu Die letzten Jedi: Der Film mag vieles sein, feige ist aber nicht. Ganz und gar nicht. Rian Johnson beschreitet hier mutig neue Pfade und entwickelt die Saga damit weiter, wie ich es nicht mehr erwartet hätte. Und egal, wie man zu diesen Entwicklungen steht, ob man sie gut findet oder nicht, man muss ihm einfach zu Gute halten, dass er mehr will als einen weiteren Aufguss von Altbekanntem.
Gleichzeitig darf man Johnson attestieren, dass er Star Wars verstanden hat und sich daher das Meiste, wenn auch nicht 100% alles tatsächlich nach Star Wars anfühlt und sich gut in diese Galaxis einbettet.
Ebenfalls sollte positiv herausgestellt werden, dass Die letzten Jedi es schafft, gegebene Elemente – seien es Figuren oder Schauplätze – zu nehmen und besser zu machen. Ahch-To ist nicht mehr nur diese irische Insel, Poe Dameron wird zu mehr als einem Fliegerass und auch Rey oder Kylo gewinnen an Tiefe. Doch das ist nur eine Seite der Medaille. Die andere ist, dass man stellenweise merkt, dass Johnson mit einigen ihm vorgegebenen Elementen nicht allzu viel anzufangen wusste und diese dann auch ziemlich schnell abhakt. Das ist nicht unbedingt schlimm, zeigt aber Schwächen auf, mit der die Sequel-Trilogie zu kämpfen hat.
Selbstverständlich hat Die letzten Jedi nicht nur bereits bekannte Figuren oder Planeten zu bieten. Mit Crait gibt es einen neuen Planeten, der eben nicht wie Hoth wirkt, sondern tatsächlich frisch, exotisch und aufregend. Canto Bight hat tatsächlich sowas wie Prequel-Flair, was mich besonders gefreut hat. Die neuen Figuren sind größtenteils interessant geraten, können ihr Potential im Film allerdings nur begrenzt ausspielen. Hier ist vor allem Benicio del Toros DJ zu nennen, der vielleicht auch das „Pech“ hat, im aus meiner Sicht uninteressantesten Handlungsbogen mitzuwirken.
Während also der Handlungsbogen mit Finn und Rose eher nebensächlich wirkt und schließlich sogar in einem ziemlich konstruierten Finale mündet, sind es so ziemlich alle Momente mit Rey, Luke oder Kylo in denen der Film so richtig überzeugen kann. Lukes Reaktion auf Rey dürfte so niemand vorhergesehen haben, und so bieten die Ahch-To-Szenen nicht nur einige Überraschungen, sondern auch genug Material, das die Saga im Normalfall für die nächsten Jahre stark beeinflussen sollte.
Mit einer Laufzeit von über 150 Minuten hat der Film mit ein, zwei Längen zu kämpfen, die glücklicherweise aber nicht so lang werden, dass sie wirklich stören. 150 Minuten – genug Zeit, um Antworten auf all die Fragen zu liefern, mit denen uns Das Erwachen der Macht zurückgelassen hat? Ja und nein. Es gibt Antworten, aber sowohl auf Figurenebene als auch bezogen auf die politische oder gesellschaftliche Lage der Galaxis bleiben viele Fragen unbeantwortet – und die Hoffnung, darauf in Episode IX noch Antworten zu erhalten, ist mehr als gering. Das ist in einigen Fällen zu verschmerzen, in anderen Fällen ist es eher schmerzhaft.
Dass Rian Johnson, wie eingangs erwähnt, Star Wars verstanden hat, zeigt sich auch visuell. Hier gibt es an Die letzten Jedi überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Es gibt eine Vielzahl an Einstellungen, die sich uns Fans fest in die Köpfe einbrennen werden. Und auch musikalisch schafft es der Film, dass Star-Wars-Gefühl aufleben zu lassen. Es gibt genügend stellen, in denen John Williams glänzen und deutlich vordergründiger agieren kann, als es im ersten Teil der Sequels noch der Fall war. Williams spielt hier sowohl mit Themen aus der Klassischen Trilogie, hier sei vor allem das Princess Leia Theme genannt, aber auch in Das Erwachen der Macht neu eingeführte Themen werden aufgegriffen und prominent eingesetzt. Neue, zumindest nach dem ersten Schauen eingängige Themen waren jedoch nicht auszumachen.
Mein Fazit: Unterm Strich bleibt ein emotional bewegender und fesselnder Star-Wars-Film, der nicht davor zurückscheut, ausgetretene Pfade zu verlassen und neue Dinge zu probieren. Im Fandom wird der Film für reichlich Diskussionen und sicherlich viele unterschiedliche Meinungen sorgen. Mit Blick in die Zukunft betrachtet hat Lucasfilm mit Rian Johnson einen Mann an der Angel, der mit seiner neuen Trilogie für eine frische und sichere Zukunft des Franchises sorgen wird. Schade, dass er vorher nicht noch die Sequel-Trilogie beendet.

Ich habe heute über den Tag mehrere Reviews gelesen. Aber im Prinzip reichen die beiden hier. Entweder kupfern alle von einander ab , oder der Film wirkt tatächlich auf alle gleich. Es weden überall die gleichen Dinge (inkl. TFA und JJA!) kritisiert und auch bei allen Reviews kommt das gleiche sehr gut an.

Was geht denn hier teilweise ab???
Da will man hier eine spoilerfreie Vorabkritik von TLJ lesen, welche wenn's wirklich um TLJ geht auch wirklich gelungen ist und bekommt obendrauf an einigen Stellen ziemlich widerliche und überflüssige Schmähkritik von TFA serviert.
Zeitweise ("Mary Sue", "Trümmerhaufen" oder "uninteressante Schaufensterpuppen") fühlt man sich an Sprüche und Aussagen von SW-Hatern, Trekkies u.ä. erinnert, welche man z.B. in 1-2 Sterne Rezensionen bei Amozon & Co. dutzendfach vorfindet und man iwie gehofft hat, diese hier nicht nochmals aufgedrängt zu bekommen.
Ich werde jedenfalls gleich das Double Feature in vollen Zügen genießen.

Lustig, wie sich hier wieder mal wie die letzten 2 Jahre rund um den Start eines neuen SW-Filmes Glory-Hunter und Schönwetter-Fans registriert haben. Mal schauen, wie lange die bleiben.
Noch lustiger, wenn Begriffe wie "Mary Sue", "Trümmerhaufen" oder "uninteressante Schaufensterpuppen" kritisiert werden mit "widerlich und überflüssige Schmähkritik".
Oder der Satz von "Silvi":
"Ingesamt ein ziemlich feiges und recht uninspiririendes Review."
Feige, weil keine Spoiler vorhanden? Feige, weil sich die Macher nicht verteidigen können (was auch nicht Sinn und Zweck ist)?
Abgesehen davon, dass ein review auch nicht inspirierend sein kann (zu was soll es den Rezipienten inspirieren?).

@Kaero: Wer austeilt muss halt auch einstecken. Wenn du mit Trümmerhaufen um dich wirfst darfst de dich nicht über Wörter wie widerlich wundern oder aufregen.
Und warum musst du hier einige Fans als "Schönwetterfans" verunglimpfen? Wer hat dich zum Richter darüber gemacht wer ein richtiger Fan sein darf?

So sehr es mich selbst verwundert, aber im Moment vermisse ich Lightsabersword.....
Die hätte bestimmt schon lange nen Spruch rausgehauen über den sich alle einig wären.
Manchmal sind es die von denen man es am wenigsten erwartet.
Allen viel Spaß heute oder in den nächsten Tagen mit Luke und co. !!!!

Ich habe "Trümmerhaufen" nicht verwendet.
Wer aber die Wortwahl "Trümmerhaufen" mit "widerlich" bezeichnet, macht sich als Kritiker unglaubwürdig.
Die Sache mit den Schönwetterfans ist eine Tatsache, die ich die letzten 17,5 Jahre auf SWU beobachtet habe.
Ich habe hier niemanden explizit angesprochen, sondern es nur erwähnt. Denjenigen, die es betrifft, ist es egal, weil sie in ein paar Wochen/Monaten eh wieder weg sind.
Es fällt mir nur auf, dass rund um einen SW-Filmstart es jedes Mal neue User gibt, von denen man aber bald nichts mehr hört. Brauchst nur die Admins hier fragen.
Und wenn jemand die Macher von SWU wegen ihrer review kritisiert, naja, den wird es hier vermutlich bald nicht mehr halten. Eine Win-Win-Situation für alle, und das sage ich ganz sachlich nüchtern.
Weiterfahren, weiterfahren.

Wozu Neutralität oder 100% Objektivität von den Betreibern? Ist doch schön, wenn man merkt, dass das auch "nur" Fans mit einer aus-dem-Bauch-heraus-Meinung sind. Kann man ja sachlich dagegenhalten.
Außerdem stimmt mich der fast-TFA-Verriss noch aus anderem Grunde positiv: Unabhängigkeit.

Ansonsten kann ich Kaeros Kommentar zu den Schönwetterfans nur bestätigen. In der Vergangenheit war immer wieder zu beobachten, daß sich User rund um einen neuen Filmstart angemeldet haben, ein paar Kommentare gepostet haben, und dann nach kürzester Zeit auf nimmer Wiedersehen verschwunden sind.

Geht in Ordnung Ist nun mal ein Massenphänomen dieses "Krieg der Sterne"!
Eigentlich ist es doch wunderbar, dass SW so kontrovers diskutiert werden kann und sich darüber verschiedene Fraktionen bilden. Wäre langweilig wenn alle einer Meinung wären!
StarWars ist unperfekt und irgendwie auch unfertig. Bei Herr d. Ringe zB sehe ich kaum Angriffsfläche für eine interessante Auseinandersetzung, weil ich die Filme für eher "glattgeschmirgelt" halte, was mich langweilt.
So gleich geht's also los ... Ich bin erst morgen 20:00 dran, weil ich zur Mitternachtspremiere nicht mehr so aufnahmefähig wäre, bevorzuge ich die erste Abendvorstellung am Premierentag und dann Sonntag ins Berliner IMAX. Anschließend warten auf die BD...und natürlich das Meinungsgewitter hier genießen!

Meine Erfahrungen aus/mit GANZ (!) anderen Foren und Blogs (Morddrohungen? Daily !) haben oft gezeigt, dass eine persönliche Begegnung auf Lifetime Konflikte zwischen den Kampfhähnen und Web-Hate-Professionals ausräumen kann...
Gufte, McSpain, Jorge, Rieekan und Lightsabersword beim gemeinsamen Bierchen ...
Vorstellbar, so außerhalb eines Standes auf irgendeiner Con?

Trotzdem ist es nicht nett diese User als "Schönwetter Fans" zu bezeichnen. Das sind ganz normale Fans wie du und ich. Nicht besser, nicht schlechter. Und sie wollten nur anderen Fans mitteilen, wie sehr sie sich auf den neuen Film freuen oder nicht freuen, vielleicht auch in der Hoffnung hier gleichgesinnte Fans zu treffen. Sie sind nur halt nicht hier aktiv oder stehen nicht so auf Fanseiten. Und wenn ich hier lese, wie die Fans angegiftet werden, nur weil sie nicht mega aktiv sind, kann ich verstehen, dass sie lieber wieder gehen oder weg bleiben. Und das ist definitiv keine Win Win Situation wie Kaero hier "ganz sachlich" von sich gibt. Das schadet dem Image von SWU nämlich wesentlich mehr als alles andere.
Dann heißt es nämlich irgendwann "melde dich bloss nicht auf SWU an, da macht man dich gleich an, wenn du nicht mindestens ein Kommentar am Tag los lässt oder dich nicht an Diskussionen beteilligst."
Ich bin auch tief betrübt darüber, das man sich von redaktioneller Seite ebenfalls dieser Abwertung von Fans bedient. Wo ist das Problem, wenn sich hier einer anmeldet, ein zwei Kommentare macht und danach wieder in der Versenkung verschwindet? Ist man dadurch ein schlechterer Fan als der, der hier jeden Tag was schreibt oder gewaltige Texttapeten von sich gibt, auch wenn es der letzte Humbug ist, was dort manchmal drin steht?

Schonmal drüber nachgedacht, dass man nach der Sichtung von TLJ eventuell den durch TFA verpatzten "Saga"-Auftakt noch klarer vor Augen geführt bekommt und daher emotionaler ins Verfassen eines solchen Reviews einsteigt? Dass TFA wirklich nichts gewinnt, sondern TLJ durch den Vorgänger eher ein wenig verliert? Hab ich das nicht vor 4 Tagen gesagt ?
Ich fand es inhaltlich gut und korrekt, was über TFA gesagt wurde - aber die Wortwahl war tatsächlich für TFA-Befürworter doch etwas zu überdeutlich, undiplomatisch und "trumpy"...
Ich sag: Muss wohl am TLJ-Preview gelegen haben. Die schreiben sonst sachlicher.
Kannste dir ja ausmalen, was gleich so abgeht und RJ "angerichtet" hat...

Ja, Schönwetterfans mag eine nicht wirklich nette Bezeichnung sein, aber ich habe selbst Leute kennengelernt, die nur dann Star Wars-Fans waren, wenn ein neuer Film ins Kino kam, ihnen die Saga ansonsten am Allerwertesten vorbei ging. Ich vergleiche das immer gern mit Fußballfans, die nur dann hinter ihrem Verein stehen, solange er in der Tabelle oben mit dabei ist, aber wehe, er verliert mal einige Spiele hintereinander, dann war es das mit dem Fan-Dasein. Auch das habe ich bereits erlebt.
Wie sollte ich solche Leute anders bezeichnen als Schönwetterfans?
Edit: Noch ein paar Worte zu Aarons TLJ-Review: Aaron ist - so wie wir alle - Star Wars Fan mit Leib und Seele. Und TFA war für ihn ein Totalflop, ohne wenn und aber. Jetzt kann sich wohl jeder vorstellen, wie ein Hardcorefan leidet, wenn er von dem, was er so sehr liebt, komplett enttäuscht wird. Und hieraus resultiert auch seine harte Wortwahl. Mir persönlich hat TFA sehr zugesagt, aber ich kann auch akzeptieren, daß Aaron eine gegenteilige Meinung hat. Das heißt aber nicht, daß ich sie auch nachvollziehen muß.
Und bei dieser Gelegenheit möchte ich zudem nochmal darauf hinweisen, daß die PT-Hasser - von denen es ja nicht soooo wenige gibt - mit den Episoden I - III teilweise auch übermäßig hart ins Gericht gegangen sind. Und auch da fielen Kraftausdrücke, die teilweise wirklich nicht mehr feierlich waren.

Und nein. Ich schließe mich auch vier Tage später nicht deiner Prognose an und Argumentation an. Auch habe ich im Gegensatz zu Ewok bisher viele Kritiken gelesen und keine davon greift TFA an oder fühlt sich genötigt Schwächen auf TFA zu schieben. Es geht also. Wem ich am Ende zustimme sehen wir dann.

Das Problem mit Schönwetterfans ist nicht, dass es falsch wäre dass einige sich halt nur für die Filme interessieren. Das Problem mit dem Begriff ist, dass er unterstellt Hardcore Fans wären etwas besseres und deren Meinung mehr wert.
Das ist schon aus monetärer Sicht falsch.
Ich bin unterm Jahr hier auch nicht so oft auf der Seite (speziell letztes Jahr weil mir halt Rogue One persönlich nicht zusagte). Auf der anderen Seite hab ich hier einen Account aus den Zeiten als es noch ein Forum gab (lies: ich bin alt). Macht mich dass jetzt auch zu nem Schönwetterfan? Ist meine Meinung jetzt weniger wert?

Ja! Als ich mich vor Jahren schon einmal registriert habe, war ich schnell wieder weg.
Ich kannte irgendeine Figur aus irgendeinen EU-Roman nicht und war gleich "voll doooof und voll keineee Ahnung..." Waren wahrscheinlich Schönwetterfans! Heute finde ich es hier wesentlich seriöser im Umgang (Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel)

Ich mag solche Gespräche zwischen Casuals auch sehr gerne. Die sind noch nicht so fest gefahren in ihren Ansichten und bringen oftmals eine sehr sympathische Unschuld mit ins Gespräch. Ich unterhalte mich zum Beispiel sehr gerne mit meinem 12 Jährigen Neffen und seinen Kumpels über Star Wars. Zum einen weil sie wirklich ohne Vorurteile an die Sache ran gehen und dabei eine Phantasie an den Tag legen, wie sie häufig eben nur Kinder haben. Um diese kindliche Unschuld und Sicht auf Star Wars beneide ich die Jugend manchmal. Die sind auch eher Casual Fans, die Star Wars eher von Rebels und TCW kennen, aber immer mit Herzblut und Begeisterung dabei sind, wenn ein neuer Film ansteht. Sehr erfrischend und etwas, was ich hier teilweise doch sehr vermisse. Die Begeisterung.
Natürlich verebt das Interesse auch wieder schnell, wenn der nächste große Hype eines anderen Films ansteht. Aber trotzdem stehen sie in ihrem Enthusiamus den so genannten Hardcore Fans in nichts nach, zumindest so lange Star Wars für sie interessant ist.

Aber irgendwann sollte man mit seiner Entäuschung auch mal klar kommen.
Wenn jemand vom Pferd fällt, gibt es auch nur ein paar Möglichkeiten. Man steht auf und ist so stinkig auf den Gaul, dass man ihn notschlachtet und zu Bratwurst verarbeitet. Oder man steht auf, klopft sich den Dreck von der Hose, steigt wieder auf und nimmt die nächste Hürde in Angriff und kümmert sich nicht mehr um das letzte Hindernis. Oder man steigt auf und versucht das letzte Hindernis noch einmal zu überspringen. Oder man hört ganz mit der Reiterei auf. Aber es gibt wohl niemanden, der noch Stunden oder Tage nach dem Sturz im Dreck liegen bleibt und rumjammert, wie gemein doch das Pferd gewesen ist.
Warum fällt es manchen bloss so schwer einen in ihren Augen schlechten Star Wars Film ad acta zu legen und sich darauf zu konzentrieren was vor einem liegt?

Es ist schon lange her, dass ich hier was gepostet habe. Das liegt nicht an von einigen vermuteten Desinteresse. Ich lese oft im Stillen mit um auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben. Wie bestimmt auch viele andere, eher passiv gestimmte Fans. Manches regt mich beim Lesen innerlich auf. Aber muss ich deswegen als welcher Fan auch immer rund um die Uhr Posten und jede Kleinigkeit kommentieren. Ich denke nicht. Solche Fans als Schönwetterfans zu bezeichnen ist unpassend, da der entsprechende Kommentator den Hintergrund des Schweigens der stillen Teilhaber nicht kennt. Ich fiebere das ganze Jahr lang mit den Geschichten und Figuren mit, freue mich über Fanartikel, muss aber nicht alles kaufen wo SW draufsteht. Okay es gibt Hardcore-Fans. Das ist in Ordnung. Allerdings gibt es viele Fans die ein umfangreiches Offline-Leben haben und denen vielleicht auch manchmal oder auch oft einfach schlichtweg die Zeit fehlt überall mit sachlichen oder emotionalen Kommentaren mitzumischen.
So und nun bitte viel Spaß mit TLJ.

Das ist des Pudels Kern. Stell dir vor, die Liebe seines Lebens verlässt dich, und zwar von jetzt auf gleich, völlig unvorbereitet. Gestern war noch alles in Ordnung, heute liegt dein Leben in Trümmern.
Das ist jetzt natürlich sehr überspitzt formuliert, aber jeder geht damit anders um. Der eine versinkt in Trauer und kommt sehr lange nicht darüber hinweg, der andere kann mit der Situation wesentlich besser umgehen und schließt dieses Kapitel recht schnell ab. Aaron gehört dann eben zu der Sorte Menschen, die an einer herben Enttäuschung, wie es TFA für ihn darstellt, länger zu knabbern hat.
Ja, Aarons Wortwahl zu TFA ist hart, empfinde ich auch so, streckenweise an der Grenze und auch teilweise darüber hinaus. Aber da muß ich ihn auch ausdrücklich in Schutz nehmen, denn seine Wortwahl resultiert - wie ich eben schon dargelegt habe - aus dieser immensen Enttäuschung. TFA war der erste Star Wars Film nach 10 Jahren, da war die Erwartungshaltung logischerweise enorm. Und wenn dann das Endergebnis so sehr von der eigenen Erwartung abweicht, und zwar im denkbar negativsten Sinne, ist imho eine solche Reaktion durchaus gerechtfertigt. Und nochmal, ich selbst teile seine Reaktion nicht, kann sie aber nachvollziehen.

Es geht keinesfalls darum, in welcher Frequenz ein User hier Kommentare postet. Jemand, der täglich 20 Kommentare verfasst, ist nicht der bessere oder schlechtere Fan, als derjenige, der sich nur drei, oder viermal im Jahr zu Wort meldet. Es geht lediglich um diejenigen, die sich einzig und allein mit der Intention anmelden, kurz etwas zum Thema schreiben, um dann wieder für immer zu verschwinden.

Der Vergleich mit dem vom Pferd Fallen hinkt. Eher ist es so, dass wir gerne reiten und uns auf ein neues Pferd gefreut haben, dass uns versprochen wurde. Aus meiner Sicht haben wir vor zwei Jahren einen Esel bekommen.
Mit der Kritik an TFA werde ich nicht müde, denn ich glaube, dass wir bald alle auf Eseln reiten, wenn wir zufrieden sind oder es uns gleichgültig ist, was aus der Saga geworden ist.

Es geht dabei auch nicht um Esel oder Pferde (respektive was uns als Star Wars Fans versprochen wurde, nämlich gar nichts.) Die meisten haben bloss ein Pferd erwartet. Niemand hat gesagt, wir bekommen ein Pferd. Es wurde nur gesagt, wir bekommen etwas, worauf wir reiten können.
Nur wenn die eigenen Erwartungen nicht erfüllt wurden, ist es relativ unfair, die Schuld nur beim Stallburschen zu suchen, aber nicht möglicherweise auch bei sich selbst, weil man nicht klar gesagt hat, was man für ein Reittier haben möchte. (auf Star Wars bezogen eben, dass man selber mit utopischen Erwartungshaltungen in diesen Film gegangen ist, die sich im nachhinein bei logischer Betrachtung als überhöht herrausgestellt haben, man aber nun die Schuld bei anderen sucht, weil die eigenen Erwartungen nicht erfüllt wurden).
Es geht aber viel mehr um das Verhalten nach dem Sturz. Und da ist es völlig unabhängig, ob man von einem Esel, einer Ziege, einem Kamel, einem Strauß oder von einem Pferd gefallen ist.

Ja genau es geht um das Verhalten/ Umgang hier.
Wer nimmt sich was raus und wie wird auf Meinungen hier reagiert und eingegangen.
Als Beispiel:
Eine Seite nimmt sich raus und beansprucht für sich das die PT für sie schon aus Hinsicht der Glaubwürdigkeit Anakins und seiner Wandlung nicht funktioniert hat.
das reicht für sie.
Unverständlich wieso sie dann nicht im gleichen Zug akzeptieren wenn jmd das selbe für Rey oder Kylo in der neuen ST so sieht.
Trotzdem gibt es darüber hinaus Dinge die losgelöst von Meinungen dastehen.
Sich Meinungen darüber bilden oder erlauben ist erst der zweite Schritt.
Na mal sehen wie überzeugend dann die neue ST eine Geschichte erzählen kann, ob sie es schafft grade das tragische überzeugend zu vermitteln
